Miss India Worldwide Kenya 2002

What a year 2002 was! Happy New Year to you!
It has become much of a cliche, but it is true - new year, new government! Fingers crossed that things begin to look up for Kenya.
In the beauty world things are always looking good! After a long rest we are back at it and making sure that this years event will suffer no hiccups and will be smooth sailing.

First and foremost a big congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Saran - they were honored with a lifetime achievement award for what they do for the Indian community, I think that award was definitely due!

Also, well done to Miss Dubai, Santripti Vellody, for nabbing the Miss India Worldwide 2002 title - we pray your reign is going well.
My bosses are back from holiday; after recovering from her illness, Pinky took a trip to go watch the Miss World in the UK and from what she tells me it was an event that was well organised and Kenya did us proud, so well done Maryanne!
Nelly went to Zimbabwe to cheer on Lupita at the Miss Malaika finals, when she came back she made us green with envy that we missed the show. Again Kenya carried the flag high impressing all including CNN - from what I hear they couldn't wait to get an interview with Lupita! (more info on www.missmaiaikakenya.com)

Chugging along this year The Model House has a lot planned, but what do you have in store? The date is set for the final of Miss India Worldwide and do you think you can win the much coveted title? Our photo of the month is one from the archives - Breast Cancer Awareness Month was in October, but we liked this picture - all four of Kenyans 2002 beauties together for a cause!
